Well……I did say that I was going to “blog” a bit more and that really was my intention…but I got a tad busy in our gorgeous Gold Coast “Loveland “…!!!….and considering I started this blog in December of 2013…..and it’s now nearly Easter 2014 …time has once again run away from me !!!

2013 was a huge year for me as a Gold Coast wedding celebrant …I did get “knocked off my feet’ for a while literally!. . . when I had a foot reconstruction at the end of May. For someone who is used to being busy, boy oh boy, that stopped me in my tracks !! lol

I remember the surgeon saying….”you will not be doing anything as a Gold Coast Celebrant, for at least 3 to 6 months!!!!

I replied….”we will see about that! You don’t really know me, do you!?” lol

7 weeks later there I was back doing my 1st Gold Coast wedding, post op, in moon boot and crutches! I perched myself up on a stool and back in the saddle……after all it was only my foot that was broken …not my head …( Ok! Ok! ..some of you may question that …lol)

The year of 2013 has come to an end and I now reflect on what a fantastic year it has been….87 Gold Coast weddings (and others) later and my spirit and celebrant soul feels more enriched and blessed by each and every one of them.

I love the fact that all of my Gold Coast weddings have each been unique in their own special way. They should be, to me you are all unique as a couples you are !!

As a Gold Coast celebrant, There have been so many unique and perfect scenarios I have had the pleasure of being a part of during so many of my Gold Coast weddings. From the small elopements under a beautiful big fig tree to the intimate gathering at sunrise on a Gold Coast beach or wonderful sunsets from the peak of a Gold Coast Hinterland mountain. A celebrant to bride’s arriving in horse drawn Cinderella carriages and amazing African cultures with vibrant, colourful dancing and singing to welcome the beautiful bride. For me, as very privileged Gold Coast Wedding Celebrant, it has truly been a year of WOW! WOW! and more WOW!!!!

The places I have been as a Gold Coast Wedding celebrant and the things I have seen makes me wish I could invent a magic love dust that I could sprinkle over everybody. People thank me for doing their wedding but it really should be the other way around. You gorgeous Gold Coast Brides and handsome Grooms have allowed me into your special world and have given me the gift of creating what works for you. So hey, I’m the lucky one !! J….Yes this is what I do for my living, I am a Gold Coast Wedding Celebrant and it pays my bills and keeps a roof over my head and food on the table but it’s not about the money, its about having the opportunity to do what is my passion, to be a celebrant, a Gold Coast wedding Celebrant and that, I will always be so thankful for and never take for granted.

Here we are now in March 2014 of the Gold Coast wedding calendar and clearly, already, it’s going to be just as big as 2013, in fact bigger than last year and my most busiest year to date. With National and international travel happening for ceremonies this year, I can’t believe how amazing my journey as a Gold Coast Celebrant is (and yes, Gold Coast Wedding Celebrant will travel :)). I am already booking into 2016 with 3 bookings so far. Brides of today are just Uber organized !!

I look forward to each and every one of your beautiful weddings that lie ahead of me. I thank you, with all my heart, all of the beautiful couples who’s beautiful weddings I have had the pleasure of officiating over, thank you for all your wonderful expressions of love…… Tarnya – Gold Coast Wedding Celebrant.

Have a fabulous 2014 everyone….and don’t stop feeling the love !! J <3 <3 <3 Tarn xx
