(For pricing for Commitment Ceremonies please refer to the pricing for Wedding Packages).
A commitment ceremony is usually similar to any other kind of wedding. The big difference is that, instead of being a legally binding ceremony, it’s simply a public affirmation of a couple’s commitment to each other. Even though it may not be legally binding, doesn’t mean it should be any less special. It’s still a celebration of love and can be one of the most important days of your lives. I personally believe that any strong, loving and healthy relationship deserves to be recognised and celebrated. It is not so much whom you love, but rather how you nurture and treasure that love which is important.
Renewing of Vows
Had so much fun at your wedding that you want to do it all again?
With the same person, of course! Renewing your vows and even going as far as re-creating your wedding day is becoming quite common. Maybe you have a new circle of friends who missed out on your actual wedding or maybe you’ve reached a special milestone – 10, 25 or 50 years (or, in some cases, 1 year!).
There isn’t a more special way to renew your love than declaring it in public with your friends and family or maybe just an intimate party of 2. In fact I did this when I turned 50 this year !! I surprised my Hubby with a renewal of vows….lol…phew !!! good thing he said yes !!
If you want to organise an alternative to a Christening, then a Baby Naming Ceremony is the perfect option. In fact this beautiful ceremony has been around since the Roman times …where a child was introduced to the community and had a special ceremony known as “The Day Of Naming”
It’s a non-religious ceremony celebrating the arrival of a baby and introducing them to the people that matter most in your life . As with a Christening, it can still reflect the parent’s wishes and desires for the child’s future.
You might also want to select a couple of close friends or relatives to become Godparents/Guardians. The only definite thing about this kind of ceremony is that it should be as special as your precious bundle of joy .
A commemorative certificate will also be issued. (Even though it’s called a “Baby Naming Ceremony” there is no age limit for these ceremonies.)
Deposit and Refund Policy
A non-refundable fee of $150.00 is required for all bookings and is payable within 14 days after the booking is confirmed. The balance of the fee is required no less than 14 days before the ceremony. Payments can be made by cash, cheque or direct deposit.
In the event of a cancellation, a refund of the balance will be issued if at least 48 hours notice is given.
