Helpful Hints !

SSSSHhhh be quite !!! If there is one thing that I have learnt it’s sometimes better to keep quiet and say nothing !!

Why?? Well people love to give their opinion whether it’s asked for or not. They are not meaning to be rude it’s just something that us humans do. Too many times have I heard Aunty doesn’t like that idea, or mum thinks we should do something different, or my friend thinks that poem sounds soppy !!!!

It’s YOUR DAY . . . not everyone else’s.

So eliminate the stress attached and simply say “You will have to wait until the day, it’s all a surprise”

Hair !! I have been a hairdresser for 29 years and although I won’t do your hair for your day (I am a Celebrant first and foremost) I can offer some helpful hints.

Take in pictures of styles to give the hairdresser an idea of where you are coming from

If you have a” friendship” with your hairdresser then, he/she should have some great ideas for your hair.

However, this doesn’t mean that you have no input as to how you would like your hair to be on your special day.

Be honest, be open and communicate and don’t turn into a “bridezilla!”as this puts more stress your hairdresser and in the end that could be detrimental to you and your hair !!

If you are using a hairdresser who you have never meet before, again, be honest, open and communicate! Remember, take in pictures

You need to feel that you are in good hands and it’s always essential to HAVE A TRIAL !!!!
